Hayes Meats & Gourmet Foods has the BEST meat this side of the Mississippi. I would not feed my family anything else. Their meat is so fresh and the cost is very reasonable. Also, you cannot get a friendlier staff than the one at Hayes. Keep up the great work! Me and my family will definitely be back!

Gem is our hero! "Catering by Gem" at Hayes Meats catered our daughter's wedding at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. The food was beautifully presented, plentiful, and fabulous. Our guests feasted and raved about the food. The servers were attentive and extremely helpful, but the best part of all is that our caterer saved the day!

The night before the wedding we discovered that we were short on table linens, and Gem helped us out. Then, on the day of the wedding, we discovered that the country club had not provided champagne (as was in our contract). Gem went to the store for us, bought champagne and glasses, and absolutely saved the day while we danced with the bride. We would not have had a champagne toast if it weren't for his willingness to go the extra mile to take care of us.

We cannot say enough good things about the whole operation. Professional and outstanding in every way, we highly recommend their services.

As you know I am new to the area and found you through your website and was a little scared about not having any previous knowledge about your catering. Once I met you, I felt much more at ease about using you.

You made me feel very confident in you and I was not nervous at all. We could not have been any more pleased on our wedding day to walk into the reception and see the beautiful cake that looked exactly like the picture and all the wonderful food presented so perfectly! The food was delicious and the cake tasted heavenly!! Our guests enjoyed everything and had great comments about all the food.

Hayes has THE BEST meat, the prime cut of any of the beef is to die for. Worth the price. The staff are very friendly and helpful, don't bug you when walking around. Hayes could teach a course in excellent customer service.

AWESOME!!! "I checked in and received a free New York Strip Steak. They couldn't believe that someone from Yelp finally took them up on their check-in offer. The owner carried my phone around the restaurant/store showing it to everyone who worked there. He even had to return to me a few times because the screen went blank. This restaurant/store is very excited about Yelp and I could tell they genuinely wanted to know more. They also asked me where all the Yelpers have been as they've been waiting. Well, I'm here!! This is a family owned business and it shows. Everyone is so friendly and chatty and it makes shopping here so pleasant. I was surprised to see how packed this place was as everyone just loves it here. So what is this place? It's a deli, gourmet food store, winery and butcher. In their large parking lot they also have a farmer's market with fresh fruits and vegetables. Tip: Free beer on tap while you shop and they promise the coldest beer in town. I learned that this place has been in business for 55 years. On the weekends they hold community BBQ's and pack the place with families which would explain the outdoor seating areas. They also offer wine and food tasting events. This place is a foodie's dream. I ordered the French Dip sandwich and I am now upset that I ordered this from Outback Steakhouse in the past. What was I thinking? Their sandwiches are truly phenomenal and they come with a side, pickle slice and a fresh chocolate chip cookie. Normally when you consider sides in a deli it's your typical potato salad, or macaroni salad, and yeah, they had that too. For my side I picked Mediterranean grape leaves. They were so good and authentic that I would stop here just to purchase some side dishes. They had a generous selection of side dishes so even the pickiest eaters can find something. I also picked up a bottle of gourmet BBQ sauce and fresh homemade four cheese raviolis. They had quite a selection of gourmet treats. I highly recommend this place. They also cater. They do fruit spreads, sushi plus so much more."

Good Morning Hayes…..had to share this wonderful experience with you. I visited Hayes for the first time yesterday. This wonderful blonde lady (originally from Conn.) waited on me. I purchased chicken, fish, pork chops
fresh veggies and wine. I asked advice on how to BBQ those beautiful pork chops. Well we followed her directions to the Tee and honestly my husband and I decided they were the best chops we ever had. What a find.
